Victor Cirone

Registered Homeopath & Clinical Herbalist

I am a Clinical Herbalist (RH, OHA) and Registered Homeopath (HOM DSHM, College of Homeopaths of Ontario). I practice Herbal medicine and Homeopathy because of the immense transformative powers that these modalities contain – both on individual and collective levels of experience. I value direct experience, careful and attentive observation, and always strive to engage with my patients in a way that is authentic and deeply healing. I employ a range of medicines in my practice to suit the needs of the individual in their journey towards wholeness and wellness.

In addition to my medical studies, I have a Master’s degree in Communication and Culture from York/Toronto Metropolitan University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from the University of Toronto. I have also completed The Essentials of Psychoanalytic Therapy program offered by the Toronto Institute for Contemporary Psychoanalysis, and have an extensive background in Jungian/Archetypal psychology, as well as Anthroposophy.

Herbal medicine is a vehicle through which we can move in the direction of wholeness and equilibrium, from wherever we are. Plant medicines work in concert with the body’s own mechanisms and defenses. As an herbalist I am not interested in forcing the body to change; instead I work to support and facilitate the body’s own innate healing capacities and potentials. Holistic herbal healing does not entail the suppression of symptoms. Rather, it involves developing a clear picture of the underlying patterns of disequilibrium and susceptibility to disease that affect an individual. We work together from this understanding in order to arrive at a place of health, wholeness, and vitality.

Hi there! I'm one of the people doing things in the background; from creating graphics, working on the website's design, to taking our photos and getting out my typewriter whenever necessary. I'm an artist and someone who has grown up with herbal medicine and the industry around it. When I was younger I would help my mom pick calendula flowers in the garden... but nowadays you can usually find me behind a computer screen (I still like picking flowers... sometimes.).

I’m an artist (painting and drawing, mostly) and a website developer. I enjoy gardening, and love working on my 110-year-old house.
